Vinyl and CDs

I am someone who experienced the 90s intensely — both the emotional, melodic, slightly melancholic electronic side and the aggressive, identity-forming metal side. The two are not in conflict in your taste; they are complementary.

I have strong personal attachments to specific artists and have created my own «wall of fame» for my TOP60 of the ones that have influenced me in a strong way.

Here you can take a look at my collection and download the list/setup i use. Artists marked with yellow are from my personal TOP60 artist selection. If theres titles that you are interested in I have added pricing to the file as well (without grading)

CD covers «wall of fame» representing my Top60 artists

(the album on the wall might not be my favourite from the artist) Ive explicitly marked the artists tied to important personal experiences. Looking at the density of those marks is revealing:

  • Depeche Mode and the broader synth/futurepop cluster (Mesh, Pride and Fall, Elegant Machinery, Sista Mannen På Jorden) form the largest emotional concentration.
  • Iron Maiden, Satyricon, Seigmen, Motörhead, Slayer, Metallica — the metal side of personal history.
  • Norwegian artists: a-ha, Kaizers Orchestra, Seigmen, Jokke, Vamp, Motorpsycho, Madrugada, Kent (Swedish but culturally close), Susanne Sundfør, etc.
  • A secondary emotional layer of alternative/indie: The Cure, Tori Amos, The Smiths, The Cranberries, Faith No More, Primus, Rage Against the Machine.

The yellow list is not random “greatest artists.” It is a map of formative years, friendships, heartbreaks, identity formation, and specific periods and experiences in my life.
